'The Sewing Room Set' at Visible Image

Hi Guys :D
I hope we are all doing well.....

Huge shock to the system for me this week.....I'm back working full time GULP.....Locum-ing away from home for 6/7 months.....at my old Veterinary practice where I was for 12 years.....it's good to be back but I know it's gonna kill me LOL
A downside is less time to Craft but on a plus, more cash to buy crafting goodies :D

For my creation this week I've been trying to get my mucky paws on this set for a while.......there's just sooo many stamps you WANT and NEED from Visible Image it's hard to choose which, so I made a list and am working my way down it......BUT......then Mr Po (Mark) makes new stamps that I need like yesterday and have to  bump them up my list......One day I will have them ALL....I hope ;)

So, back to this AWESOME set!

at a fab £12.99........
and during October it's FREE P&P to anywhere in the Whole wide World!!

Here's my first creation with it .....

I wanted something simple and hopefully classy
To start my tag I chose the lovely green mirror board, I call it 'gall bladder' green LOL
I heat embossed the mannequin stamp in wow ebony and cut out.
Attached and cut the mirror mosaics from papermania ( I didn't get as cleaner edge as i'd of liked)

Stamped the mannequin stamp & heat embossed straight onto the tag in wow ebony twice.
Stamped the 'running stitch'  in peeled paint distress ink around the outside of the tag and used the 'zigzag stitch' stamp across the base with a double layer in black soot.

Around the eyelet I used the larger button stamp in black soot DI, finishing with the 'be unique' in heat it up silver.
Distressed the tag in peeled paint and antique linen DI., matted in black card and layered onto the mirrorboard and attached a green eyelet.
Added some ribbon, a black feather, black rose, gem  and ivory heart pin, the mosaic mirror dress was attached to the cut out mannequin and attached with tiny foam pads.

My next tag is......
a combination of distress ink in shades of pickled raspberry and chipped sapphire, water and wow blueberry powder

with some gems and purple spider web to finish :D

Hope you like my makes today.
The Sewing Room set really is very versatile.
I love it and next week I have used it in a completely different way, It's fab and very unique!

  5. Your tags look fantastic. Such a different look because of the different colour schemes but both work very well with the images.

  6. Your tags are classy but definitely not simple Sue. Hard to choose which is my fave because I love them both. Mmmm think the pink might just have it ... mmm no the gorgeous brown!!!
