'Chic Molly' with Visible Image

Hi Guys
I hope you're all well :)
It's kinda mental here as we move house in a couple of weeks and loaaaaads to do :-/
I'm trying to get ahead with my DT work but you know when your head's so full of 'stuff' you just can't create :( well that's me at the moment lol

Today's creation for 'Soozie Tooseday' for the awesomely creative Visible Image is the one and only
MOLLY from the Molly Rules Set <3 LOVE HER <3

I wanted a nice pink chic feel to her, so I coloured her in with promarkers and used distress inks for her hair and the backgrounds.......iced spruce and spun sugar :)
For the fencing I used the plank of  wood stamp from the Painted wood set £12.99
and the gorgeous little roses are from the Elegant Emma set £11.99, the sentiment 'Naughty and Nice' is from Molly Rules Set.

I heat embossed the Winter Tree in heat it up silver pearl then
for the sky I made a cloud template and grunged it up darker towards the top and lighter to the middle
with spun sugar and iced spruce DI.
Stamped the birds from Free your imagination £12.99
stuck on the top half of Molly as if she was looking over her garden fence......added black bows and pink roses to her hair, some bunting and eyelets, stamped the skull and heart from Molly Rules and to finish some lace and pearls.

Hope you like her and don't forget our APRIL TAGS CHALLENGE ends very soon....so either attach your entry to our blog OR add it on our FACEBOOK GROUP page, just mention its for the April Challenge but hurry hurry folks :)

'More than words' with Visible Image

Good Morning everyone :)
It's 'Soozie Tooseday' today, I had a 'SoozieSunday' last week!

I hope you all had a lovely Easter, with a combination of some quality family time and chocolate :D
I'm hoping you've all been creating TAGS to enter our April TAGS challenge, if not you better hurry :)

Our Facebook group is buzzing at the moment and if you want to be the first to hear of any new stamp releases then here is the place to be and I hear a little whisper we may getting brand new stamps sooooooon, but keep this quiet :) ssssshhhhhh!

Ok........

Today's post is a bit of a sad one, my best friend <3 lost her Mum on Friday very suddenly and as you can imagine she is devastated, her Mum was a lovely lady and meant the world to my bezzie, her life certainly wont be the same again, a huge chunk of her heart is gone forever :(

...... these are for my Best Friend........ one to tell her i'm here for her, she knows that but it never hurts to say it and the other the dreaded 'Sympathy card' :(

Colour wise I used primary lagoon and fluorescent green wow embossing powder.
The gorgeous stamp set is from the 'More than words' range and is

and  I just LOVE this verse, written by Helen from Visible Image
Designed by Mark...the two make up the Dynamic duo that is
VISIBLE IMAGE

After I had versamarked up my stamp and transferred the image onto my neena card I used the lagoon blue and dribbled the powder down the front, middle and end of the image, shook of any excess and then applied the fluorescent green to the rest of the verse and then used my heat gun. Grunged up the eges in salty ocean and mounted......3 gems to finish!

***

Now Helen made this sympathy card easy, it's my first ever and I wasn't sure how to go about it....but less is more I think with Sympathy cards, so CAS all the way
......the words say everything that need to be said :(
Helen you're a genius :)
I heat embossed the verse, words, flower and stem in primary ebony wow, used the spellbinders deckled dies and the next size up I stamped the flower in seedless preserve distress ink, and grunged the edges in the same colour  with a sponge......this set takes out all the stress and hard work of doing what's unfortunately a necessary card but not one we enjoy doing!
The 'With Sympathy set' is a must!
Alternatively you could use darker colours and use the
Finished with some clear gems and a teardrop.

I hope you will be more confident to make 'sad cards' and try to think of it  that when the recipient opens it, they'll know you care :)

Much Love

'Skulls & roses' with Visible Image

 Good Morning guys :)
It's Soozie Tooseday and I have something a little bit different
I love hearts, skulls and roses and I know it wont be everyone's thing but if your looking for an edge for someone who is a little bit unique then maybe this will suit them!

Again I used my trademark black, white and red.
Firstly I heat embossed the skull from
 'Max Rocks stamp set'
in wow black ebony and the gorgeous 'Live, laugh & love' which was a freebie by Visible Image in Craft stamper last year, fussy cut and distress inked the edges in iced spruce.
The hearts are from the awesomely useful and cute
'Harley Jester set',
heat embossed in wow red apple and again fussy cut.
ALL these 'Character sets' and more are a bargain price of £11.99

The delicious little rose is from the beautiful
 'Elegant Emma set'
and I inked that up in mowed lawn and festive berries distress inks.
I just think all these stamps sit perfectly together <3
To finish I layered onto black and red card, added small foam pads and mounted onto a white base.
Voila! I love it :D

and the beautiful words from
Believe £4.50 , this font is absolutely gorgeous.

Using promarkers to colour Tala in and the fab  dream catcher and border,
mustard seed and rich mahogany distress inks to distress and I stamped the 'Believe and follow your dreams' in rich mahogany, added onto a rich yellow and burgundy card.
I painted diamond stickles onto the dream catcher and Tala's dress and headband,
added some bling, ribbons, tassles and silver charms (tomahawk & feather) from my treasure chest.
