Father's Day Duo @ visible Image

Hi y'all :D
I seem to have got into the habit of doing 2 cards!!!
It's a bit like seeing a nice top, fits great but can't decide what colour to get, so get 2!

Well it's 'Soozie Tooseday' again here at Visible Image, Kids are home so I don't get as much time to craft :( but :) that the 'little people' are home from boarding school!

I've gone for a Fathers day theme, seeing as though it's creeping up on us!
Only a couple more days left for you to enter our May Challenge Brighten Your Day as it's almost June which also means its nearly my Birthday YEY!
I'm hoping (but ssshhhh) that Cheremane's made me a card that I cheekily asked for haha but if you don't ask then you don't get do you? But it's such a beautiful card I sooo wanted it :D
If you need some inspiration pop by ourFacebook group.

Right lets get on with why we're here shall I!
I thought of a lovely colour combo and I really like it, it's wild honey and aged mahogany DI's

For this card I used the handsome classic car (attached with foam pads) stamped 2 and cut out, all the stamps in the Father's Day Set and for my backgrounds the Grunge check and Crackled background. I masked a lot and had great fun getting inky and embossed all the words in wow primary burgundy red, mounted onto a black 6 x 6 card and to finish used my crop-a-dile and some brass eyelets.
For the message inside I used However you spend it

For my second card I used the same colours, for the backgrounds the Harlequincrackled and Tyre marks
again I masked quite a lot, I stamped and coloured the motorbike twice and cut out (again attached at the end with foam pads), for the tag I added a silver motorbike from my treasure chest stash and mixed stamps from the More than Words.....these are a MUST all interchangeable and stamp and emboss beautifully.
Added some fibres and eyelets, mounted again onto a 6 x 6 black card.
For the verse inside I used Anyone can be a Father & Happy Father's Day from the Father's day set.

I had fun making these and I like the fact you don't need backing papers, you can make your own and there are sooooo many backgrounds HERE to choose from :D

Thanks for stopping by folks
Much Love

'The One' written by Helen Michelle @ Visible Image

'The One'

WOW! what an awesome piece of Romantic verse!
Written by the amazingly talented literary genius Helen Michelle from Visible Image
When Helen wrote 'The One' it was Inspired by Mark Watt
(AKA Mr Designer & Manufacturer himself) ......awwwww isn't love grand :D

This AMAZING Verse 'The One' is available for a measly £4.99
It's a steal, you can use it for Valentines, Christmas cards for partners, engagements, Weddings, Birthdays, just because you want too, picture frames, canvas's, inside verse in cards, scrap booking.....the options are endless and it stamps perfectly every time as do all their stamps, excellent value and quality for your money.

Helen has several verses she's written available here :D, check them out, for the romantic's they're perfect :o)

I wanted to give the verse the pride of place it so rightly deserved so I stamped with versamark and heat embossed with wow primary burgundy red and then used the grunge border from the fantastic Grunge Flourish , another big favourite of mine, it's a very versatile stamp  (stamped in aged mahogany DI).
I then die cut Joys floral flourish and Memory box's precious hearts in the burgundy mirror board from Creata, Matted and layered with cream, burgundy mirror board and a lovely heart/harlequin paper from J'adore. Added some pearls, cream, burgundy and red roses & a silver heart via an eyelet from my treasure chest & stamped  'I love you' inside from set 14 of More than words.

I wanted to give the verse a classy yet simple setting so the verse got the attention it so deserved :D
Well that's another Soozie Tooseday over, thanks for popping in, there's been some gorgeous entries in our Brighten your day May Challenge and don't forget to enter and also share your creations on our Group page.

Visible Image Ink Splats

Hiya :D
I hope we are well & dandy?

A weekend blog from me!

This week myself and our fab stamp crew have been doing some samples for the
.....it's on the 24th & 25th of May and the fabulous Mark & Helen AKA Visible Image  will be there, so pop along if you're near to Cardiff  and say HELLO Watty & Madge :D and get yourself some of their luscious polymer stamps!

I've made 2 cards both patriotic (as am I & proud of it) :o)
I made them from the amazing Ink splats set only £6 for 4 splat stamps! Bargain and its ACE you just dunk & splat, dunk & splat!
For sentiments I used Live the Life and Live Your Dreams, love both of these stamps and only £3.99 each!

I made myself a template for the Union Flag, cut it out & basically just inked away (dunk & splat) with distress inks, glued it up and put it together, I had so much fun.

The metallic (& green) one was a little more difficult and messy as I used perfect pearls, think I'll stick to distress inks if I make any more, much easier :o/

The close up shot gives you a better idea of the metallic effect.
You could heat emboss but it would take sooooo long!
Hope you like them :D

Please pop in for a natter to our facebook group & to see all the amazing creations from our DT and lovely members, don't forget we still have the May Challenge Brighten Your Day, get your entries in, as many as you like, just remember no digi images!

Well that's all for me today, i'm off to make tea.....yum yum :D

Thanks for dropping in.

For my next sample I used both the small butterfly and the Large butterfly with the lovely butterfly sentiment.
Helen wanted the butterfly's to POP!.....I think I achieved that :D

'Hang in there' at Visible Image

Well howdy doody y'all :D
It's Soozie Tooseday again.....it comes around so fast!

There's some FABULOUS entries in our Brighten Your Day - May Challenge, the talent is outstanding, if you haven't already entered you MUST, just remember only stamps can be used, no digi's and if you use Visible Image STAMPS then you double your chances of winning 1st prize which is £10 to spend on our ACE stamps and the teams favourite 3 get a blinkie :D
We really struggle to pick due to the amazing quality of entries, it's hard!
Helen and Mark have been working hard and are looking forward to the July edition of  'Craft Stamper', They've designed the cover stamp and have a 3 page spread, to get a copy it's usually out the first Friday of the preceding Month so that's the 7th of June....we CANNOT wait!

Had some awesome creations on our Facebook Group page this week too......Clara is still proving to be as popular as ever.....have you indulged yet?.....go on, treat yourself :o)
I'd love to say just get Clara but I know it's never that way with Visible Image stamps.....
1 usually turns into 5 haha ;o)

Right I better get onto my DT contribution for this week......and  it's 2 cards for the price of one :D

So for my easel card (wee bit addicted to these) they're different and simple to make and I like how you don't have to cram everything onto a single side.
I used a 6 x 6 black card, some Hobbycraft embossed  cadbury's purple card, ivory card stock and Docrafts bookprint paper and the most important part the elegant and sophisticated Chandelier Set
I LOVE it and I LOVE the sentiments, you can use these either with or without the Chandelier.
So for the first card I heat embossed the sentiment 'Just to Brighten your day' and the chandelier in Wow's Earthtone Grape which is a deep purple, added some black lace and matted.
For my main border I used the multitalented Grunge Flourish, one of thee bestest stamps, you can use the top, sides and back to achieve lots of different looks, this stamp is a MUST HAVE in any stampers collection, it really is, I use it so many times for all sorts of cards from grunge to classy!

I used dusty concorde DI for the grunge flourish and put it all together and finished with some purple droplets on the chandelier and black gems.

For my number 2 card I used the Chandelier Set again with 'Hang in there' for my sentiment, heat embossed in wow primary ebony and wow metalline red, added some red teardrop gems and for my background I used the fabulous Crackle background and heat embossed in red metalline, and mounted with some black mesh and black gems, so 2 rather different cards using the same set.

I love it, such a classy set and you get 4 sentiments with it, all for £9.99!!! Bargain!

Well I hope you liked my cards and thanks for popping in and I will see you all very soon.
Much Love

It's 'Soozie Tooseday' again and I wanted to be bright today, I feel bright and summery......so I hope you like 'Lime and Purple' along with the beautiful Clara
Possibly my 2nd favourite colour combo after red/black/white.

I stamped and coloured Clara with my promarkers then used dies from spellbinders nestabilities majestic elements using lime and purple card.
Then stamped the awesome Crackle background onto white card stock in dusty concord DI, added some purple mesh and matted onto purple card stock.
Mounted and added the flower from joycrafts , vintage flourishes die and some purple bling to finish......simple and uncluttered :D

Today's blog is to kick off our new May Challenge the theme is 'Brighten Your Day' enter HERE and you MUST use a stamp, no digital images allowed and this is a permanent requirement now and i'm glad, it makes sense because after all Visible image sell stamps and we had some awesome entries for the April challenge.
So be sure to pop over and see what our awesome design team have created and also to enter our challenge with the chance to win £10 worth of Visible Images stamps :o)

Today's blog for me is in homage to Helen (AKA Madge) for her gifted talent for writing, she has written so many beautiful verses and her beau Mark has made some into polymer stamps and we as lucky crafters get to use them again and again, be it on the front of our cards or inside or for other projects.
The 'Hearts entwined' verse is one of my favourites and the design is awesome.... I love it......I also love Fairytale ending, that's another huge favourite :D

Thank you Madge for giving us the privilage of using your truly beautifully and unique heartfelt verses, they are truly awesome, please continue to share them with us XXX

I've had to make a lot of wedding and blessing cards this year already so i'm extremely grateful of them.
This is a card for a very good friends daughter of mine, their colour scheme is Turquoise and fuchsia  so it matched perfectly for the 'Bright' theme....I am particularly impressed with my design for this too, love it and I will make many a different colour in this design with these awesome stamps :D

Soooooo for my easel wedding card the stamps used are the awesome 'Hearts Entwined' and various super fab words from the 'More than words' , Set 10, Congratulations from Set 9 and 'on your' from Set 5.....you can mix and match these, buying what you want at amazing prices, you don't have to buy the sets advertised unless you want to, its genius!

For the inside I also used the polka dot background this is such a god send, comes in handy such a lot and so easily matches up for a continually flowing background, and it's so dainty and feminine too but alternatively can be 'manned up'....and last but by nooo means least the fantastic Grunge flourish (back side) love this stamp, love so many haha.
Dies used are the sissix framelits and hearts and memory box'x precious hearts.
Turquoise shimmer and ivory card stock with staz on fuchsia and teal blue inks.
A hollow heart and clasp from my treasure chest & turquoise gems to finish.
I'm very proud of this card and definitely one of my faves.

An extra pic to show what it's like in a different colour.....red and ivory :D
Love it :D
Thanks for popping in, good luck if you enter the challenge and see you soon I hope
Much Love
