'Snowman Jack' at Visible Image

Hello everyone.....I hope we are all winning with Christmas and are almost there shopping wise.....
have your cards all made....I'm buying this year, just dont have the time to make any :(
But i've found some very cute dog ones for guide dogs for the blind :)

Firstly I will kick off with a DT call for Visible Image......we are an already established AWESOME team with AWESOME bosses Mark & Helen......it's a dream DT with the most FANTASTIC STAMPS......take a look at Visible Image..... and come on over, if you stamp well and can colour images, blog in detail then walk this way......Design Team Call.....you could be our NEW 2014 teamie :)

For my creation this week i've used the very cute Snowman Jack.....I heat embossed him in Copper Pearl, I love the finish you get with the pearl powders.
Then I coloured him in with distress inks, fancy cut and added some bling and decoupaged his scarf.
For the background I cut out some white card to measure for the snow and distressed the edges with vintage photo DI. For the sky I used kraft card and heat embossed the speckled background in copper pearl and bright white, then used a snowflake from the enchanting snowflakes.
Distressed Jack and the Kraft tag with vintage photo DI and mounted onto green card.

Used my crop-a- dile and put the eyelet in the centre of the snowflake heat embossed in bright white.
Added some tinsel and berries and lastly rope at the bottom threaded through bronze eyelets.

I hope you've entered our Christmas Challenge where you have a chance of winning £30 in FAB stamps and our facebook group needs you too......come join us guys :D

Thanks for dropping in and same time next week

Father Christmas at Visible Image

 Hi Guys
Here we are this chilly Tuesday morning for another 'Soozie Tooseday'
With a bit of festivity :)

There's just less than a week to enter our November Challenge 'Make it Sparkle', as from next week there will be a whole new challenge for December with a wee surprise too :D

Mark and Helen at Visible Image HQ are working on some new designs at the moment, so if you want to get the low down first hand then make sure you keep checking in to our facebook group page HERE! and please share any creations made with Visible Image stamps with us too, we'd love to see them :)

My creation today is another 'reverse negative split image' tag...... I love these, very different and effective :) and relatively simple to do!

I versamarked and then heat embossed the super cute 'Father Christmas' in wow red apple onto white Neenah card and again in wow bright white onto red card.
I repeated this with the 'greetings' part of the awesome Vintage Seasons Greetings, measured half way marks, guillotined and pieced together.
Placed on opposing red and white card with double sided tape, guillotined the outer borders, matted onto silver mirror board then
using my crop-o-dile made 5 holes and placed eyelets in, threaded the candy string through, added some tinsel and a santa sleigh from my treasure chest.
simples!
:)
No colouring of the image involved at all!
Final touch was to add some glamour dust with my quickie glue pen to
his facial hair and the white fluffy bits of his outfit!

Stamps used are :-
Vintage Seasons Greetings £3

Father Christmas £6.99

I hope you've enjoyed my tag and I've inspired you to try the 'reverse negative split imaging' and to purchase some INKredible stamps from Visible Image.....HERE for all their Christmas range :)

'Jake skates' at Visible Image

Hellooooo
Welcome to another 'Soozie Tooseday' DT day for the wonderful Visible Image.
I'm hoping you already have your entry in for our November challenge 'Make it Sparkle', you only need to have used at least one Visible Image stamp and have the chance of winning £20 worth of stamps of your own choice :)
If you're not already a member of our facebook group then please send a request so that can be rectified and you can join our friendly group and start to share with us your creations :)
Today I'm sharing with you a commissioned order for a work colleagues son made with these superb stamps!

Jake Skates £11.99

To begin I did a reverse negative split image of Jake, which entails of stamping the whole image in versamark and heat embossing in wow black ebony onto white card.
Repeat again onto black card using wow bright white embossing powder.
Then carefully measuring a half way point and cutting both images on the guillotine in exactly the same places and then match up opposing pieces, so you end up with 2 images........
one black and white and white and black!
Secure together with double sided tape and trim.
Add a reverse negative border.
I repeated this process with the 'You Rock' sentiment from 'Max Rocks'
On a piece of white card I used the awesome 'grunge stamp' from the 'Jake skates' set in black soot distress ink, stamped the star onto the same card and repeated, heat embossed in black ebony wow cut out, added some bling.
Attached Jake, the sentiment  and star with sticky pads to add dimension.
Added a skull charm from my treasure chest and finally matted onto black and white card.
I love the reverse negative effect and my creation for next week is the same technique with a Christmas stamp.
Hope you like it and hope to see you again next week.
I really do appreciate all your lovely comments, thank you all :D
Please head on over to see the fantastic range of stamps available from Visible Image and if you look in the GALLERY you will find a multitude of ideas and inspiration :D

Grungey Molly from Visible Image

Hi guys......how are we all?

Those of you who were at the NEC, I hope you had a fab time and got lots of crafty stash and it was lovely to meet crafty mates in the flesh.
I thoroughly enjoyed myself helping out on the  Visible Image stand,
finally got to meet the AWESOME duo Mark & Helen, what a couple, love them <3
Met lots of lovely customers too, the stand looked AMAZING along with the fab stamps and fabulous DT creations......it was a magical feast for the eyes :D
Loved it!

So here's to today and back to reality with a bump.......
It's 'Soozie Tooseday' again for Visible Image :D
Today I'm sharing another Molly creation......oh I love her, she's so my fave :D

This card was a commissioned order for a work colleagues daughter
who likes pink, skulls, grunge with some added sparkle :)

Firstly I stamped Molly (£6.99) and coloured her in with promarkers and cut out.
For my first layer/ bottom layer I stamped the grunge stamp from the Isabella lost love set around  the border first in iced spruce distress ink and then in black soot and matted onto some thick pink card from hobbycraft.

For the next layer I  randomly covered a piece of white neenah in iced spruce and Victorian velvet DI with my blending tool and a die cut heart with a pink card layer, spritzed with my mister and flicked water droplets on left to dry, when dry I again used the grunge stamp with black soot DI on the borders.

In tuxedo black memento ink I stamped and masked to achieve the skull, hearts and barbed wire effect, these stamps are all from the
AWESOME Molly Rules stamp set £11.99

LOVE this set and she proved very popular at the NEC as she always does at shows,
wicked accessory stamps and she's sooooooo CUTE!

On the die cut heart I made some holes with my crop-a -dile and threaded with silver twine, added the name 'Erin' in gems and a kiss, mounted the heart and Molly with dimensional stickers and added 2 silver pegs and a sparkly skull from my treasure chest and Voila done :D

Hope you've entered our challenge this month?
£20 worth of stamps of your choice up for grabs and you don't need to have a blog either, just enter your creation on our Facebook group page and mention it's for our 'Make it sparkle' challenge......you MUST use at least one Visible Image stamp and NO DIGIS allowed!
Good Luck guys!

Thanks for dropping in!
Much Love
